Day 1 — Marrakech → Imlil → Aroumd

Depart Marrakech at 8:30 AM for Imlil (1,740 m). Walk the riverside path through walnut orchards to Aroumd (1,900 m), the largest Berber village in the valley. Settle into a family guesthouse, explore the terraced lanes, and enjoy a home-cooked dinner on the terrace.

Day 2 — Aroumd → high pastures → Aït Bougmez

Climb gently through high pastures to a panoramic saddle (2,200 m) with views across to the Toubkal massif, then descend and transfer to the Aït Bougmez valley — the “Happy Valley” — arriving at a guesthouse in Tabant for dinner.

Day 3 — Sidi Moussa shrine → Agouti → Marrakech

Walk between the mud-brick hamlets of Aït Bougmez to the hilltop granary shrine of Sidi Moussa for a panorama over the whole valley, then continue to Agouti. After a farewell lunch, begin the return drive to Marrakech, arriving by early evening.

Easy to moderate — 5–6 hours of walking per day over three days, with gradual climbs to 2,200 m. Suitable for active families with children aged 10+ who are comfortable with multi-day walking.
