Plunging 110 metres in tiers of emerald pools and rainbow mist, Ouzoud is the highest waterfall in North Africa — framed by olive groves and home to wild Barbary macaques.

The name means “the act of grinding grain”; old olive-oil mills still turn beside the falls.
