The High Atlas rises west of Marrakech to 4,167 m at Jebel Toubkal, and the valleys on its northern flank — Imlil, Ourika, Ouirgane and the Kik Plateau — hold the most accessible mountain walking in Morocco. A guided day hike puts you on those mule tracks with a local Berber guide who grew up in the valleys, private transfer from your accommodation, and lunch on the mountain.
