Day 1 — Takerkoust lake loop

Depart Marrakech at 9:00 AM for the 45-minute drive to Lalla Takerkoust lake (950 m). Walk an easy loop along the lakeshore to the dam viewpoint (1,000 m), with the Atlas foothills reflected in the water. Enjoy a picnic snack by the shore — children can play on the flat ground — before an optional café stop and the return drive to Marrakech by 1:30 PM. Pairs well with an afternoon Agafay desert visit.
